​What is ‘rehabilitation’? How do residential programmes operate and what are their components? Is residential therapeutic care effective? This course provides an overview of residential therapeutic care for women and girls who have experienced abuse and/or exploitation, or who are at-risk of abuse or exploitation. It is designed for students studying psychology, anthropology, intercultural studies, and related fields; members of missions organisations who want to implement residential therapeutic/shelter programmes, and anti-human trafficking practitioners and researchers.
